Ok. Coming back to the point; This gift is perfect for a lot of special occasions to give to your loved one. š
My mother’s birthday is coming up and I thought of making her one of those ‘Reasons Why I Love You’ because I love her to pieces. ā¤
I gave it my own twist and absolutely loved the result. So here’s the DIY. š
Things You’ll Need
- Main:
- Basic:
And also:
Instructions
Step # 1:
Clean the jar and by using glass paints write the number of reasons you’re going to tell. Decorate the jar the way you like.
I used really ancient glass paints. Had to use toothpick to write from them š
If you don’t have glass paints, you can make a label by using paper and glue it around the jar.
Step # 2:
Write the reasons on the white paper.
Step # 3:
Cut the reasons. I used a zig-zag scissor because then you don’t have to worry about getting a straight line that I am very bad at. š
Step # 4:
Now, for the hearts which we will use to seal the reasons so they can remain a secret. Only your loved one can open and see.
Draw the number of hearts equal to the number of reasons.
Easier to cut a number of them together after folding like this;
Here they are;
Step # 5:
Number the hearts.
Step # 6:
Take the same reason and heart.
Roll the reason.
Glue the heart in the following manner;
Half of it on one side and the other half on the other. So, when your loved one will open it, the heart will still be there to be attached again.
At the end, you’ll get;
Step # 7:
Make a circle to tell what the reasons are about;
Step # 8:
Fill your jar with the reasons.
Step # 9:
Take the thin ribbon and make it go through the circle and then attach it to the thick ribbon.
Step # 10:
Take the thick ribbon and glue it on the jar till the point done here;
Note where the circle has been tied to!
Step # 11:
Tie a bowĀ on the top.
And you’ll get
Taaddaa!! š
Peace. Meet you all in my next post. š
